Ghanaian striker Abdul- Aziz Yakubu was on target for Rio Ave in the Portuguese league against Vicente.
The talented striker scored a penalty in the 43rd minute after Joao Teixeira opened the scoring on the half hour mark for the home side. Rio Ave put the game beyond the visitors at the Estadio do Rio Ave in the second half of the game through Portugues striker Joca to end the game 3-0.
Abdul-Aziz Yakubu has been spectacular for his side this season and currently has 5 goals in the LIGA Portugal. His fellow Ghanaian compatriot Emmanuel Boateng who also plays for Rio Ave has 6 goals this season. The combined goals of the two Ghanaian strikers have propelled Rio Ave to 11th on the log with 29 points.
