Medeama SC will lock horns with Legon Cities at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa on Sunday, days after beating Hearts of Oak 2-0 to improve their placing in the table.

The Champions are 6th on the league table with 36 points, having won 2, suffered 2 defeats and drawn 1 in their last 5 outings. They have picked 27 points at home in the league this season, scoring 12 and conceding 3 in the process.

Legon Cities have lost their last 4 away games and ranks amongst the poorest away performers in the League. They have accumulated a paltry 8 points from 12 away games – scored 6 and conceded 16 league goals. The Royals are 13th in the league table with 32 points – with one outstanding game against Dreams FC.

Medeama SC have beaten Legon Cities three times in their last meetings at Akoon Park.

Medeama SC boasts Kamaradini Mamudu, Manuel Mantey, Daouda Sidibe, Fatawu Sulemana, Bernardino Tetteh, Micheal Enu, Daniel Lomotey, Kofi Asmah, Kobina Amoah and Godfred Abban.

Legon Cities top scorer Kwabena Boateng is expected to start the game on Sunday. Other key players who are likely to feature for Samuel Fabin include, Fredrick Akatuk, Stephen Asare, Morris Fuseini, Nicholas Mensah, Joseph Mereku, Mohammed Suleman, Kamal Suraje and Samuel Tenedu. Mohammed Alidu will miss the clash after receiving a red card against leaders FC Samartex in midweek.
