The Ghana Women’s Football Strategy aims to create a group of talented female soccer players for the national teams. To achieve this, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) picked Dora Zuta to lead the new Female U21 national team. This shows the GFA’s dedication to developing young talent in Ghana’s soccer scene.
Dora Zuta, a former national team player and holder of a CAF License B Coaching certificate, brings lots of experience to her new role. She’s joined by Florence Amuzu, another former national team player, forming a strong coaching team. Together, they’ll mentor and guide the young female players on their soccer journey.
The creation of the U21 national team is a big step in the GFA’s Women’s Football Strategy. It acts as a stepping stone for players to move up to the U23 team and eventually the Black Queens. This team provides a vital platform for finding talent, nurturing it, and helping players progress.
