Announcing Charles Anokye Frimpong as the head coach of the new U18 female national team is part of the Ghana Football Association’s effort to boost women’s soccer.
Frimpong, known for his past role as Assistant Coach of the Black Queens and his prestigious CAF License A Coaching Certificate, brings a lot of experience to his new job.
Gifty Ayew Asare, currently working as an assistant coach for Epiphany Ladies FC and holding a CAF License C coaching certificate, joins him to help shape the future of Ghanaian women’s football.
These appointments fit well with the GFA’s Women’s Football Strategy, which aims to transform women’s football in Ghana.
Choosing Frimpong as head coach signals a fresh start for Ghanaian women’s football, with hopes that his leadership will guide and inspire the next generation of female players.
With Asare’s assistance, the coaching team is ready to lead the U18 female national team to success, following the GFA’s strategic plan for the sport.
As the GFA continues its efforts to promote women’s football, appointing Frimpong and Asare is a big step toward achieving gender equality and supporting female athletes in Ghana.
