Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, representing Ghana on the football field, delivered a stellar performance on Tuesday night, igniting Leicester City’s emphatic 5-0 victory over Southampton in the English Championship.

As a loaned player, Issahaku earned his spot in the starting lineup for Leicester City’s Round 38 fixture of the league campaign.

At the renowned King Power Stadium, Issahaku showcased his talent by breaking the deadlock in the 25th minute with a composed finish, capitalizing on a well-executed pass from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

His goal provided the crucial advantage for Leicester City as they headed into halftime leading the contest.

Following the halftime break, Leicester City returned to the pitch with renewed vigor, dominating Southampton and extending their lead with an impressive display of attacking football.

Wilfred Ndidi further solidified Leicester’s position with a goal in the 62nd minute, effectively doubling their lead over Southampton.

Not to be outdone, Issahaku continued his impressive performance, securing his second goal of the match in the 75th minute, much to the delight of the Leicester faithful.

In a moment of synergy, Leicester’s seasoned striker Jamie Vardy capitalized on Issahaku’s assist in the 79th minute, adding his name to the scoresheet with a well-taken goal.

Issahaku then capped off his exceptional performance by completing a sensational hat-trick in the 81st minute, scoring from close range and sealing Leicester City’s comprehensive 5-0 victory.

The resounding win not only showcased Leicester City’s dominance on the field but also propelled them closer to securing automatic qualification to the prestigious English Premier League.
