Ameenu Shadow, the General Manager of Dreams FC, has expressed gratitude to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for their unwavering support throughout the club’s journey in the CAF Confederation Cup.
As Dreams FC stands on the brink of history, with just one game away from potentially reaching the final of the prestigious tournament, Shadow commended the GFA for their assistance.
The Dawu-based club earned a crucial goalless draw against Egyptian giants Zamalek SC in Cairo, putting them in a favorable position to progress to the final with a victory in the upcoming match.
Throughout their campaign in the competition, Shadow acknowledged the GFA’s pivotal role in ensuring that the FA Cup champions make a significant impact on the continental stage.
“I will use this opportunity to thank the Ghana Football Association for their support. Truth be told, the FA has been very supportive. At the end of the campaign, we will hold a conference to give details of the support we received particularly from the FA,” he said on Happy FM.
As Dreams FC prepares to face Zamalek at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, the club remains grateful for the backing they have received from the GFA.
