Report: Medeama SC proposes GHS20,000 monthly deal to sign Hearts of Oak maestro Salifu Ibrahim

According to a report by Kickgh.com, Ghana Premier League defending champions Medeama SC have tabled an impressive monthly offer of GHS20,000 to secure the services of Hearts of Oak midfield stalwart, Salifu Ibrahim.

Identified as a key addition to bolster their squad, the Tarkwa-based club views Ibrahim as an ideal player to enhance team solidity.

With just over a month remaining on his contract with Hearts of Oak, Ibrahim could depart the club if negotiations for an extension falter. While Hearts of Oak has proposed a monthly salary of GHS10,000 in their bid to retain him, sources indicate that Ibrahim has made the decision to part ways with the club after the season.

In light of this, Medeama is prepared to double the stakes by offering the talented midfielder a lucrative monthly salary of GHS20,000 to entice him to Tarkwa.

Although other clubs like Nations FC and Asante Kotoko have expressed interest in signing Ibrahim, it is reported that should he opt to remain in Ghana rather than seek opportunities abroad, Medeama stands as a favorable destination, according to insider sources.

Since joining Hearts of Oak in February 2021, the 23-year-old has been instrumental in the club’s Ghana Premier League triumph that season. This campaign, he has notched two goals and provided nine assists in 27 appearances for the club.
