Abdul Karim Zito, Dreams FC head coach is targeting victory against against Egyptian giants Zamalek FC in the second leg of the Caf Confederation Cup semis-final clash.
The Ghanaian FA Cup Champions will host Zamalek on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium and the Ghana U19 gaffer hopes his side would be to kill the game within the stipulated time in their bid to secure a historic finals qualification, having held the Egyptian side to a goalless drawn game in Cairo last week.
“You are here and you have seen the attitude of the players, we have put the results of the first leg aside and we are preparing seriously for the second leg, we know it is going to be very very difficult, it won’t be an easy game, it will look very frightening and very difficult but one thing I can tell you is that it not impossible, for us it is possible,” Zito told Akoma FM.
“After the first leg in Cairo we all sat together and planned on what exactly we want from the Sunday game and the objective on Sunday is to qualify and as to how will qualify you will see it on Sunday
“You watched the training yourself, we ended with penalty shootouts and out of the twenty four (24) players only three (3) of them could not score, so we are ready if it gets to penalties. Let me say that we are hoping to go in on Sunday and secure qualification in regulation time.” He concluded.
