Following a disappointing 2-0 loss at home to Legon Cities, Hearts of Oak are gearing up to revive their fortunes as they face Accra Lions in Week 28 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Hearts of Oak Park this Saturday afternoon.

Struggling with just one win in their last five matches, the Phobians find themselves in 11th place on the league table with 35 points.

In contrast, Accra Lions have showcased strong form, winning three, drawing one, and suffering only one defeat in their last five outings, placing them comfortably in 6th position with 40 points.

In their recent encounter, Hearts of Oak succumbed to a 2-0 defeat against Legon Cities, with Albert Yeboah finding the net twice in the 55th and 67th minutes.

Meanwhile, Accra Lions managed a 1-1 draw away to Karela United, with Bernard Kesse scoring for Lions and Mohammed Sulemana equalizing for Karela.

As Hearts of Oak strive to reverse their fortunes and prevent further decline in the standings, Accra Lions are eager to maintain their momentum and push for a coveted top-four finish.

Expect an electrifying showdown as these two Accra-based rivals clash on the pitch.
