In a dazzling showcase at the Golden City Park, Hearts of Oak exhibited their flair and dominance, clinching a remarkable 3-0 triumph over Berekum Chelsea in the Ghanaian top-flight on Wednesday.

Goals from Hamza Issah, Linda Mtange, and Cisse Kassim dealt a devastating blow to the hosts, marking their second defeat at home and the 12th of the 2023-24 season.

Issah Kuka’s sublime pass set up Hearts’ top scorer Hamza Issah for a stunning goal in the 19th minute, igniting the visitors’ lead.

Further strikes from Linda Mtange (59th) and Cisse Kassim (83rd) solidified Hearts of Oak’s resurgence at the Golden City Park.

This victory comes as a significant relief for the Ghanaian giants following their recent 1-0 loss at home to city rivals Accra Lions.

The match showcased Hearts of Oak’s tactical prowess, dominating possession, creating scoring chances, and thwarting Chelsea’s attacks.

The win propels Hearts to 11th place on the table with 38 points, trailing their opponents by only three points at 41. This signals a team finding its rhythm and cohesion under pressure, poised to challenge for a top-four finish.
