Mohammed Kudus, the Ghanaian football star, is relishing his experience at West Ham United, describing his transition to the Premier League as the realization of a lifelong dream. Following his move from Ajax to West Ham last summer in a significant £38 million transfer, Kudus signed a lucrative five-year contract, with the possibility of an additional year.

Throughout his debut season in the Premier League, the 23-year-old has left a remarkable impression, showcasing his talent with 13 goals and five assists in 43 appearances for the Hammers. As West Ham prepares for their final home game of the season against Luton Town, Kudus expresses his contentment with his decision to join the Premier League and his new club.

“I followed my gut and dream to move here to West Ham and believed I was ready,” Kudus remarked on the club website. “When I decided to make this move to the best league in the world, I knew I was ready to take that step and I wanted to test myself.”

Acknowledging the inevitable challenges and triumphs of his debut season, Kudus remains focused on continuous improvement and development. Despite the highs and lows, he feels satisfied with his performance and contribution to the team.

“There have been ups and downs throughout the season, but I know there are more ways to improve my game. I’ve definitely announced myself here and I am happy that it has gone in that direction for the first season,” he added, reflecting on his journey thus far.

As West Ham United navigates through their final fixtures of the season, including an away game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, Kudus and his teammates are determined to finish on a positive note. Despite recent struggles in Premier League matches, the team remains committed to giving their best and concluding the season with pride and determination.
