Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, emphasizes his role as a positive influence and mentor for children in his homeland.
Since his debut with the Black Stars in 2019, Kudus has emerged as a source of inspiration for many young fans in Ghana.
His journey from Ajax to Premier League side West Ham United has captivated audiences, solidifying his status as a household name through standout performances in top-tier leagues and European competitions.
“A lot to be grateful for, you know, but also it comes with a lot of responsibilities, you know, because I believe there’s a lot of kids from my country that look up to me,” Kudus told the Premier League.
“So in as much as I’m not perfect and I try to be myself, I try to set a good example for them.”
Since his move to West Ham United last summer, Kudus has enjoyed a highly successful debut season.
Alongside his impressive displays on the field, he has contributed significantly with 13 goals across all competitions. Notably, he has netted seven times in 31 Premier League appearances and added five goals in nine Europa League matches.
Also, he scored once in three EFL Cup fixtures.
