Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner is looking forward to getting his deals done very early for the 2024-25 season.

In a bid to strengthen his defence, the Austrian tactician has identified the 20-year-old highly rated Moroccan centre-back, Chadi Riad of Spanish La Liga side Real Betis as someone who can strengthen the Eagle’s back line.

A formal proposal worth €12m plus €2m add-ons have been sent to Real Betis with the deal set to be finalised between the clubs.

The former Barcelona youngster permanently joined Seville in the 2023 summer and has made 26 appearances in La Liga this season. Chadi Riad is interested in continuing his development in the English Premier League.
