Nsoatreman FC General Manager, Eric Alagidede, has assured that the team will strengthen their squad ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign next season.
The Ghana Premier League side will represent Ghana in the continental competition following their maiden FA Cup victory.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Alagidede said that the team will improve their playing body to ensure a successful outing in Africa.
“We will improve the team for Africa next season,” he stated. “The coach has already started discussions with some players because we need to go there and leave a mark.”
Although Dreams FC set the standard by reaching the semifinals of the CAF Champions League, Alagidede emphasized that Nsoatreman FC is not under pressure to replicate that achievement.
“Dreams FC have set the standard but we are not under pressure to replicate what Dreams FC did by playing in the semifinals. We will prepare adequately and ensure we go to Africa and perform,” he added.
Nsoatreman FC won their FA Cup title after defeating Bofoakwa Tano 5-4 on penalty shootouts, following a 1-1 draw after extra time.
