Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Zubairu has successfully passed his medical test, paving the way for his move to Serbian Super League side Partizan Belgrade.
The transfer has been agreed upon by his current club, Fudbalski klub Jedinstvo, and the Serbian powerhouse, with the fee settled at around half a million euros. Following extensive negotiations, the two clubs reached an agreement on the transfer of the Ghanaian footballer.
During the previous season, the former Ghana youth star showcased his prowess by participating in 36 matches in the Serbian First League. His impressive performance included scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists, contributing significantly to Jedinstvo’s promotion to the top tier.
At Partizan, Coach Stanojević will provide Zubairu the opportunity to compete for his position against fellow players such as Korean Goh, Aleksa Janković, and the promising Nemanja Trifunović.
This move marks Zubairu as the fourth signing for Partizan this summer, reflecting the club’s commitment to strengthening its squad for the upcoming season.
