Belgian-born Ghanaian midfielder Pierre Dwomoh has officially signed with English Championship club Watford FC, completing a permanent transfer from Belgian side Royal Antwerp FC.
The 20-year-old passed his medical examinations before finalizing the move. Watford announced the signing on their official website, expressing their excitement about acquiring the promising midfielder.
Dwomoh began his professional career at KRC Genk, making two appearances before joining Royal Antwerp in July 2021. Despite limited playing time at Antwerp, he gained valuable experience through loan spells with Belgian clubs Oostende and RWD Molenbeek, as well as Portuguese side SC Braga.
In his first statement as a Watford player, Dwomoh expressed his enthusiasm for the move, saying, “I am excited to join Watford and contribute to the team. I consider myself a technical player who enjoys duels, running, and supporting my teammates.”
Although Dwomoh has represented Belgium at various youth levels, he remains eligible to play for Ghana at the senior international level, leaving open the possibility of future contributions to the Black Stars.
