Accra Hearts of Oak SC suffered defeat against Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League on the opening day of the season.
The Phobians could not bag a win against the newly promoted side on Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Just two minutes into the game, the away team got the opening goal of the match through the head of Tweneboah Prince.
The Phobians couldn’t get back into the game and succumbed to a 1-0 defeat on the first day of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League.
Basake Holy Stars will face Dreams FC in their next game while Hearts of Oak SC take on Heart of Lions next.
