Asante Kotoko have bolstered their defense with the acquisition of towering center-back Michael Sefah from lower-tier side Port City FC.
The two clubs finalized the transfer agreement on Wednesday, January 22, after successful negotiations.
Port City confirmed the deal on their social media platforms, stating that Sefah has been granted permission to complete the necessary formalities to officially join the Porcupine Warriors.
Sefah becomes Kotoko’s sixth signing in the current transfer window, joining new recruits Sampson Eduku, Kwame Opoku, Kwasi Asante, Daniel Adrian Adjetey, and Isaac Mintah as the club strengthens its squad for the second half of the season.
