Morocco is set to save numerous irresponsible football associations across the continent once again, with many games confirmed to be hosted by the North African country in the upcoming rounds 5 and 6 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

12 good games have been confirmed officially to be played in Morocco and Ghana’s away fixture against Madagascar is among them.

Ghana and Madagascar’s fixture in round 6 will be played on 24 March at 7 p.m. in Morocco. The game will be crucial in the two teams’ bid to win the sole slot in the group.

Lowdown to Grand Stade Al-Hociema

Al Hoceima’s Grande Stadium was officially opened on November 18, 2024, when Comoros defeated Madagascar 1-0 in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

Situated in the Ait Kamra Commune in El Hociema, a province in the region of Tanger-Tetouan-AlHociema, the stadium covers 20 hectares and is it has international standards for safety and comfort.

The stadium has a seating capacity of 11,000, it features a high-quality natural grass pitch, advanced lighting systems, huge screens, electronic advertising panels, and the latest sound technologies.

The venue also includes a 200-seat press conference room, a VIP lounge, two spacious locker rooms for players, and designated areas for match officials and observers. The venue also prioritizes accessibility, offering a 2,500-vehicle parking area.

Ghana sits second in Group I having won 9 points, the same as group leader Comoros who leads only on goal difference. Madagascar are two points behind leaders Comoros after amassing an impressive seven points. The minnows travel to the Central African Republic before hosting Ghan in Morocco in round 6.
