Danish football giants F.C. Copenhagen have officially signed highly promising winger David Frimpong Boison from Ghanaian side Medeama SC.

The 18-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the Danish Superliga club, with an option for an extension beyond the 2025/26 season. The deal marks a major milestone in Boison’s young career as he prepares to take his first steps into European football.

Boison, who has already been unveiled by his new club, is expected to join pre-season training with Copenhagen’s first team as he begins settling into his new environment ahead of the upcoming season.

The move reflects F.C. Copenhagen’s ongoing strategy of investing in youthful talent with strong development potential. Club scouts have been tracking Boison’s progress for some time and were impressed by his pace, creativity, and tactical awareness during his spell at Medeama.

Boison’s football journey began at Rospak SC, Medeama’s feeder team, where his standout performances quickly earned him a spot in the senior ranks. His rapid rise through the Ghanaian football scene has made him one of the most highly regarded prospects in the country.

His move to Denmark is seen as a major step not only for his own growth but also as a boost for Ghana’s reputation as a breeding ground for top football talent.

The transfer to F.C. Copenhagen presents Boison with the opportunity to test himself at a higher level, gain valuable experience in European football, and continue developing into a future star.

He now joins a growing number of Ghanaian players pursuing careers abroad, with fans and football watchers keenly following his next chapter both in Denmark and back home.
