Ghanaian international Jeffery Schlupp has expressed his willingness to play wherever he is needed for Norwich City after signing with the English Championship club.
Schlupp joined the Canaries on a free transfer following his exit from Crystal Palace, agreeing to a one-year contract that keeps him at Carrow Road until the summer of 2026. He will wear the number 27 shirt for the upcoming campaign.
Renowned for his versatility, the 31-year-old says he is ready to fit into any position manager Liam Manning asks of him. “Throughout my career, I’ve featured in a lot of different positions. Ideally, I like to operate down the left side, but I’m comfortable anywhere there. I’ve had discussions with the manager and he’s got a few roles in mind for me. I’m happy to do whatever I can to help,” Schlupp said.
Born in Hamburg to Ghanaian parents, Schlupp moved to England as a youngster and rose through the ranks at Leicester City, where he made 150 appearances in all competitions. After leaving the Foxes in 2017, he spent several seasons at Crystal Palace and also enjoyed a loan spell with Celtic, winning the Scottish Premiership title.
Schlupp now hopes to use his experience to make a big impact at Norwich as they target promotion back to the Premier League.
