Swedru All Blacks extended their unbeaten streak to four games in the Ghana Premier League with a convincing 2-0 victory over Eleven Wonders in the Matchweek 13 opener.
The Black-Whites relied on the lethal form of striker Rudolf Mensah, who scored one goal in each half to secure the win and help the team climb the league table.
Eleven Wonders started strongly, controlling possession early on, but lacked the urgency and clear-cut chances needed to break the deadlock. It took 25 minutes for Mensah to open the scoring, making a blistering run into the box, outmuscling his marker before firing a superb shot into the top corner.
After halftime, the home side pushed for an equalizer, but the All Blacks’ defense held firm. Mensah doubled the lead in the 64th minute, sealing the win and completing a standout performance.
The result sees Swedru All Blacks rise to 10th place with 15 points, while Eleven Wonders remain at the bottom of the table with just six points. Eleven Wonders will next face Bechem United, and the All Blacks will host Vision FC in their upcoming fixture.
