Four outstanding performers have been shortlisted for the NASCO Ghana Premier League Player of the Month award for November.
The nominees are:
Prince Tweneboah – Basake Holy Stars FC
Stephen Anorkye Badu – Aduana Stars FC
Usman Safianu – Hohoe United FC
Samba O’Neil – Asante Kotoko SC
Basake Holy Stars forward Prince Tweneboah enjoyed one of the best individual months in the league. He scored five goals in six matches, finding the net in five straight games. His sharp finishing and two NASCO Player of the Match awards helped Holy Stars climb out of the relegation zone for the first time this season. His form has made him one of the most talked-about attackers in the league.
Aduana Stars defender Stephen Anorkye Badu was a pillar at the back throughout November. He featured in five matches and showed strong leadership, calm defending, and consistency that helped Aduana maintain a top-three position. His impressive displays earned him two Player of the Match awards.
Hohoe United captain Usman Safianu also had a memorable month. The newly promoted side went unbeaten in four matches, with Usman providing one goal and three assists. His creativity, drive, and on-field leadership earned him one Player of the Match award and praise from fans and analysts.
Kotoko captain Samba O’Neil kept the Porcupine Warriors competitive in the top five with his experience and stability. The defender contributed two goals in seven games and collected two Player of the Match awards. His commitment and authority at the back were crucial for Kotoko throughout the month.
The winner of the NASCO Player of the Month award will receive a 43-inch NASCO digital satellite television and a NASCO double-door fridge with a bottom freezer.
