Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Myron Boadu, delivered an impressive performance for Watford as they secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Lincoln in the English Championship on Tuesday night.
Boadu started the Week 14 encounter and featured for 60 minutes before being replaced by Mamadou Doumbia.
The 25-year-old made a significant contribution to the Hornets’ victory, providing the assist for Stephy Mavididi’s decisive goal just a minute into the second half.
His contribution proved crucial as Watford held on to claim all three points at the end of the encounter.
The victory leaves Watford 20th on the Championship table, two places above the relegation zone, as they continue their battle to move away from danger.
Boadu and his teammates will now turn their attention to Saturday’s encounter against Middlesbrough, where they will be hoping to build on their latest victory.
The forward has recorded two goals and one assist in seven appearances across all competitions this season, with his recent performances suggesting an improvement in form.
