Darko Gyabi has revealed he is keeping an open mind regarding his international future — insisting that he remains eligible and proud of both England and Ghana.
The Hull City midfielder has represented England at every youth level but hasn’t been involved since the U-21s in 2024.
“The main focus for me right now is Hull,” he said.
“Once everything is going smoothly … the chance will come.”
But he also spoke warmly about his Ghanaian heritage.
“I definitely know that Ghana can be an option as well in the future. Everything happens in the right time … whatever’s meant to be will happen.”
Gyabi says Ghana is a core part of his identity.
“I love going back to Ghana. My entire family is from there. My Ghanaian roots are part of who I am.”
Both nations will be watching his progress closely as he continues to rise in the Championship.
