Ghanaian forward Gideon Kodua scored his 10th league goal of the season as resurgent Luton Town hit back from 2-0 down to draw with second-placed Lincoln at Kenilworth Road.
The visitors led after 11 minutes when Jack Moylan’s deep cross saw Freddie Draper head in at the back post.
Emilio Lawrence shot at City goalkeeper George Wickens, who parried another effort from the Manchester City loanee before Gideon Kodua volleyed the rebound over from eight yards.
The Imps doubled their lead after 22 minutes when Tom Hamer met a free-kick and his header hit Rob Street and rebounded in.
Luton halved the deficit after 35 minutes when Liam Walsh’s deep corner was powered home by Kodua for his 10th goal of the season.
And they levelled on the stroke of half-time courtesy of Nahki Wells’ brilliant 25-yard strike.
After the break Wells headed Cohen Bramall’s cross wide and Walsh’s long-range strike was straight at Wickens.
The Hatters thought they had won it when Mads Andersen headed in Joe Johnson’s corner in the 72nd minute, but it was disallowed for a foul on the keeper, while Josh Keeley ensured Luton left with a point by tipping Ryley Towler’s header over in added time.
