Ghana forward Ibrahim Osman says he can’t wait to get started after completing his loan move to Birmingham City.
The 21-year-old arrives from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion for the rest of the 2025-26 season having spent the first half of the campaign with Auxerre in Ligue 1.
The Ghanaian-born winger strengthens Chris Davies’ options in attack and is known for his pace, athleticism and direct style of play.
He becomes Blues’ third addition of the January transfer window, following the arrivals of Kai Wagner and Jhon Solis, and Osman is looking forward to contributing on the pitch.
“I can’t wait to get started,” he said. “Birmingham City is one of the big teams in England and I’m really excited to get on the pitch and make the fans happy.
“I want to help the team as much as possible and to win some games, and to score and assist and help the team win.
“Speaking with the coach and the sporting director, and as you know having just qualified from League One with a lot of points, you can see the ambition from the club.
“The manager has been watching a lot of my games, he knows my style of play. I’m a direct winger, I attack a lot and I have speed.”
