Ghanaian midfielder Divine Naah has completed a move to Lithuanian side FA Šiauliai on a free transfer following his departure from FK Kauno Žalgiris.
The 29-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract with the A Lyga club that will keep him at the team until November 30, 2026.
Naah arrives at Šiauliai after playing a role in Kauno Žalgiris’ successful league-winning campaign last season. During the title-winning run, he made 24 league appearances and accumulated 779 minutes on the pitch.
The Ghanaian began his European journey in 2014 when he joined Manchester City FC, before gaining experience through several loan moves. His first spell away from England took him to Norwegian club Strømsgodset IF, where he made his debut in a 4–0 victory against FK Bodø/Glimt in September 2014.
Naah later had a loan stint with Dutch side NAC Breda, where he scored an important goal during the Eredivisie relegation play-offs.
Throughout his career, the midfielder has also featured for FC Nordsjælland, Örebro SK, A.F.C. Tubize, and Israeli club Hapoel Ra’anana.
After joining FK Kauno Žalgiris in 2021, Naah also featured in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers, scoring during the campaign.
His transfer to FA Šiauliai now opens a new chapter in the experienced midfielder’s career as he continues his journey in Lithuanian football.
