Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu has attracted transfer interest from Premier League sides Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Brentford, with Fulham and Brentford reportedly leading the chase, according to Binge Football.
The 22-year-old, currently at Leicester City, has enjoyed his most productive season yet, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. His standout performances include a memorable hat-trick against Southampton and a key role in Leicester’s promotion-winning campaign.
Fatawu’s value is influenced by Leicester’s league position, with sources suggesting his price could drop to around £5 million, particularly if relegation occurs. While he has no release clause, the club may consider offers if he pushes for a move.
The Ghana international’s journey includes a loan to Leicester following limited opportunities at Sporting CP, a permanent signing in summer 2024 with a five-year contract, and a brief setback due to an ACL injury during international duty in 2024-25.
Fatawu has also been named in Ghana’s 26-man squad for upcoming friendlies against Austria and Germany, as the Black Stars prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
