English referee Stuart Attwell has been appointed to take charge of the international friendly between the Ghana national football team and the Germany national football team.
Attwell, who recently drew attention for his officiating in a Premier League fixture between Manchester United and AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, will lead an experienced team of officials for the high-profile encounter.
He will be assisted by Simon Bennett from England and Ross Macleod from Scotland. Farai Hallam will serve as the fourth official.
In the VAR room, Matt Donohue has been assigned as the video assistant referee, with Sian Massey-Ellis acting as his assistant—both representing England.
The Black Stars head into the fixture looking to bounce back after a heavy defeat to Austria, and will be eager to respond positively when they face Germany at the Stuttgart Arena on Monday.
Germany, meanwhile, come into the match on a high following an entertaining 4-3 victory over Switzerland national football team.
The friendly serves as a crucial preparation match for both nations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to take place across North America in June and July.
