Dutch club NAC Breda are expected to part ways with Ghanaian forward André Ayew following his final appearance for the club on Sunday.

The 35-year-old experienced attacker is set to bring his short spell in the Netherlands to an end as both parties prepare to move in different directions after the conclusion of the match. His departure will mark another chapter in a long and decorated professional career spanning multiple European leagues and international competitions.

Ayew joined NAC Breda as an experienced addition to provide leadership, attacking depth, and dressing-room influence. However, his stay is now expected to conclude after the final fixture of the season.

Career overview and statistics

André Ayew has built one of the most distinguished careers in Ghanaian football history, featuring across France, England, Turkey, Qatar, and the Netherlands.

Club career highlights:

Developed at Olympique Marseille, where he made over 200 appearances across all competitions and won multiple domestic trophies

Played in the English Premier League for Swansea City and West Ham United, contributing goals and assists as a versatile forward/winger

Had spells in Turkey with Fenerbahçe, in Qatar with Al Sadd, and in France with Le Havre before moving to NAC Breda

Known for his versatility, leadership, pressing ability, and big-game experience

International career (Ghana):
