Ghanaian forward Kwame Peprah delivered an outstanding season in Cambodia, playing a vital role in Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC’s triumph in the 2025/26 Cambodian Premier League.
The former King Faisal Babies striker crowned a sensational campaign by winning the AFC Challenge League Golden Boot after registering eight goals and two assists in just eight appearances.
Peprah’s brilliant form was equally evident in domestic competition, where he scored 24 goals and provided seven assists to inspire Svay Rieng’s successful title-winning run.
The 25-year-old emerged as one of the league’s standout performers, helping the club finish top of the table with 66 points to secure the championship.
His impressive performances represent a remarkable turnaround after difficult spells in other leagues. Peprah joined Orlando Pirates in 2021 but struggled for consistent playing time, leading to a loan move to Maritzburg United before leaving the club in 2023.
After departing South Africa, the Ghanaian striker had short stints with Hapoel Hadera in Israel and Kerala Blasters FC in India, where he also found it difficult to make a major impact.
However, his move to Cambodia has revived his career and restored his confidence in front of goal.
Since joining Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, Peprah has rediscovered his best form, becoming one of the most prolific attackers in Asian football with his consistent scoring displays and strong all-round performances.
His remarkable campaign not only delivered silverware for his club but also reaffirmed his quality as a natural finisher after several challenging years abroad.
