Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side will travel to Accra with the intention of securing all three points when they face Hearts of Oak in their final Ghana Premier League match of the 2025/26 season.
The Tarkwa-based champions, who have already secured the league title, will wrap up their campaign against the Phobians on Sunday, May 24, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Despite having nothing left to prove in terms of the title race, Tanko insists Medeama remain fully motivated to finish strongly.
“Even when we played them here, we didn’t find it easy to beat them. It was a tactical game,” he said in a pre-match interview on Medi TV.
“Now we have won the league, so we are going there with no pressure. We are going to play our normal game with the hope that we will get our three points.”
The fixture is expected to be competitive, with Hearts of Oak also keen to end their season on a positive note in front of their home supporters.
Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Medeama will then round off their title celebrations with a coronation match against Basake Holy Stars on Wednesday, May 27, at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
