Swedru All Blacks attacker Solomon Ayikabia is confident his side can rise to the occasion when they face Asante Kotoko in their decisive final Ghana Premier League fixture on Sunday.
The forward acknowledged the importance of the match but insisted that Swedru have the quality and mentality needed to secure a positive result in their fight for survival.
“With the players available, we believe we can beat Asante Kotoko on Sunday,” Ayikabia said.
“Yes, it’s a big game, but big games are where big players step up, and we need to make the people of Swedru happy.”
Swedru All Blacks head into the encounter knowing that anything less than a strong result could cost them their top-flight status, making the stakes even higher at kick-off.
Kotoko, meanwhile, will also be eager to finish their campaign on a strong note, setting up a high-pressure contest between two sides with very different objectives.
For Ayikabia and his teammates, the mission is clear — deliver under pressure and secure their place in the Ghana Premier League.
