The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will be at the BMO Field in Toronto, Canada, on June 17, to watch Ghana Black Stars’ Group L 2026 World Cup opener against Panama.
Graphic Online reports that ahead of the game, the Asantehene will boost the morale of the team with a visit to their camp.
The Asantehene was in Poland last week and travels to Canada from there.
He will be the Special Guest of Honour at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Business Summit, taking place in Toronto, Canada, from June 15 to 21.
The event is being organised by the Canada-Ghana Chamber of Commerce and its partners.
After the Black Stars opener in Toronto, the team will travel to Boston in USA for the second group match against England before moving to Philadelphia for the final group match.
Ghana has been drawn into Group L of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and facing Panama, England, and Croatia in that order.
