Ghanaian forward Jonathan Agyekum has completed a move to Bosnia and Herzegovina giants FK Sarajevo in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old signed a three-year deal to join Sarajevo from Danish outfit Brondby IF.
Agyekum, who was born in Denmark to Ghanaian parents, is expected to move directly to the first team of Sarajevo after years at the youth side of Brondby.

“Sarajevo football club confirms the engagement of Jonathan Agyekum, who signed a contract with the burgundy club until 30. June 2029. The 20-year-old Danish football player in Sarajevo comes from the Danish Brøndby IF, one of the most famous clubs in Scandinavian football. Jonathan, welcome to the maroon family!” posted the club on their social media pages.

The highly-rated forward will join the team’s pre-season late July to begin preparations ahead of the new campaign.
Agyekum started his career at Lyngby before joining the youth ranks of Brondby, where he gradually progressed to the U19.
Despite being born in the European nation, Agyekum remains eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
