Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are in advanced negotiations to sign Lesotho international striker Teboho Masuoane as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season, according to Akoma FM’s Richard Acheampong.
Sources close to the negotiations have confirmed that Masuoane has agreed personal terms with the Porcupine Warriors, with only the final details remaining before the transfer is officially completed.
The deal is being closely supervised by Kotoko’s newly appointed head coach, Eric Tinkler, who has identified the Lesotho forward as one of his priority attacking targets. The South African tactician is personally overseeing negotiations to ensure the transfer is concluded successfully.
Masuoane has built a reputation as one of Lesotho’s emerging attacking talents through his performances at club level and with the national team. He currently plays for Lesotho Premier League side Lijabatho Morija and represented Lesotho at the 2025 COSAFA Cup, where he registered an assist in the 1-0 victory over Malawi.
The striker has also featured for Lesotho in international competitions, making appearances during the COSAFA Cup and earning recognition for his work rate and attacking movement.
Teboho Masuoane’s available statistics

- Position: Centre-forward
- 2024/25 League season: 9 appearances, 10 goals
