Spanish giants FC Barcelona have officially completed the permanent signing of Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah from Dreams FC, securing the services of one of Ghana’s most promising young talents.
The 20-year-old attacker has signed a two-year contract with the Blaugrana, with the club holding an option to extend the agreement for an additional year.
Issah will continue his development with Barcelona Atlètic, the club’s reserve side, where he is expected to gain valuable experience and continue his progression within the famous Barcelona system.
The Ghanaian winger impressed during the closing stages of last season, playing a key role in Barcelona Atlètic’s final fixtures. He contributed two goals and one assist in the team’s last five matches, performances that convinced the club to make his move permanent.
Issah initially attracted Barcelona’s attention through his outstanding displays for Ghanaian Premier League side Dreams FC, where he established himself as one of the country’s brightest emerging talents.
His creativity, pace and attacking ability earned him a move to Spain, where he quickly adapted and impressed during his first spell with the Catalan club.
The permanent transfer represents another major milestone in Issah’s career as he continues his development on the European stage.
Barcelona see the Ghanaian winger as a player with significant potential and will hope he can continue improving as he works towards eventually breaking into the senior team setup.
