Aduana FC are facing uncertainty over their home venue ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season after their proposed Nana Agyemang Badu Park was left out of the Ghana Football Association’s list of approved stadiums.
The GFA’s Club Licensing Department has so far cleared 14 venues for use in the upcoming Premier League campaign following inspections and assessment of facilities.
However, Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa is not among the approved venues, leaving Aduana FC with limited time to secure clearance before the start of the new season.
The situation means the two-time Ghana Premier League champions may have to find an alternative venue if their home ground fails to meet the required standards or does not receive approval before the league begins.
Aduana FC are not the only club facing uncertainty over their home venue.
Young Apostles’ proposed Wenchi Sports Stadium has also not been included in the approved list, while All Blacks’ proposed venue in Swedru and Vision FC’s Nii Adjei Kraku II venue are equally awaiting approval.
Meanwhile, several major clubs have already secured clearance for their home grounds.
Asante Kotoko have been given approval to use the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, while Hearts of Oak have received the green light to play their home matches at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Other venues approved for the 2026/27 campaign include the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Duns Park in Bibiani, Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Sambreboi, TnA Stadium in Tarkwa, Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem, AAK II Sports Arena, Tuba Astro Turf, Golden City Park in Berekum, Nana Boamah Darko II Park in Kukurantumi and Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
With the new Ghana Premier League season scheduled to kick off between September 4 and 7, Aduana FC and the other affected clubs have only a short period to address the venue situation.
For Aduana FC, securing approval for Nana Agyemang Badu Park will be a priority as they seek to avoid the disruption and logistical challenges that could come with playing their home fixtures at a different stadium.
