Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of former Hohoe United right-back Prince Amevor on a three-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The 24-year-old defender joins the Phobians as a free agent after Hohoe United’s withdrawal from the Ghana Premier League, which allowed their registered players to become available for new clubs.
Amevor, who can operate on either side of defence, is known for his pace, attacking ability and versatility. He featured prominently for Hohoe United during the 2025/26 season, making 26 appearances.
His arrival strengthens Hearts of Oak’s defensive options as head coach Nebojsa Kapor continues to reshape the squad ahead of the new campaign.
The signing forms part of the Phobians’ ongoing recruitment drive as they look to build a competitive team capable of challenging for honours.
Amevor is expected to compete for the right-back position as Hearts prepare for the 2026 Democracy Cup clash against Asante Kotoko on August 28 before the start of the new Ghana Premier League season.
