GFA President Kurt Okraku says a total of GH¢9.5 million will be shared among clubs as prize money and financial support during the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
He said the league champions will receive GH¢3 million, while the runners-up will take home GH¢1 million.
According to Mr. Okraku, the third-placed team will receive GH¢800,000, with the fourth-placed club taking GH¢750,000.
He further disclosed that each Premier League club will receive GH¢1 million before the start of the new season to support their preparations and operations.
Mr. Okraku said the financial package forms part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s top-flight football and provide clubs with greater financial support.
