Dutch-Ghanaian midfielder Gabriel Misehouy registered an assist as NAC Breda secured an entertaining 4-2 victory over FC Eindhoven in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.
NAC Breda started strongly and took the lead after just four minutes when Charles-Andreas Brym converted Mohamed Nassoh’s assist.
The home side maintained their advantage into the second half before doubling their lead in the 61st minute. Moussa Soumano finished another assist from Nassoh to put NAC Breda 2-0 ahead.
FC Eindhoven responded strongly and pulled a goal back eight minutes later through Niek Munsters.
The visitors continued to push and eventually drew level in the 84th minute, with Guus Beaumont finding the net to make it 2-2.
NAC Breda quickly regained control of the match, as Mohamed Bouchouari restored their lead just two minutes after Eindhoven’s equaliser.
Misehouy was introduced in the 77th minute and made his impact felt in stoppage time. The midfielder provided the assist for Imran Nazih to score NAC Breda’s fourth goal and complete the 4-2 victory.
The result adds another positive contribution to Misehouy’s start to life at NAC Breda following his return to Dutch football on loan.
The 20-year-old has now featured in four league matches this season and has recorded two assists.
NAC Breda will return to Eerste Divisie action on October 3 when they face Vitesse.
