Professor Emmanuel Osei Sarpong of the University of Education, Winneba, is set to take over the leadership of the National Sports Authority in an acting capacity following the suspension of Yaw Ampofo Ankrah.
His expected appointment comes at a time when the Authority faces key responsibilities in sports administration and the maintenance of public sporting facilities across the country.
Professor Osei Sarpong is expected to oversee the Authority’s operations while attention remains on the effective management of sports infrastructure and the development of sporting activities nationwide.
