Vision FC and Bibiani GoldStars played out a goalless draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday in their Week Five fixture of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.
Vision FC controlled much of the encounter and enjoyed more than 60 percent of possession, while also recording five more shots than their opponents. However, their superiority in possession failed to produce the goal needed to secure all three points.
Bibiani GoldStars put up a disciplined defensive performance, with goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi making several crucial saves to prevent the home side from finding the back of the net.
Vision FC entered the match hoping to return to winning ways after their impressive 3-0 victory over Young Apostles on the opening day of the campaign.
Since that opening success, the club has struggled to maintain its momentum, suffering a defeat to FC AshantiGold 04 before settling for draws against Medeama SC and Berekum Chelsea.
The home side continued to search for a breakthrough throughout Saturday’s encounter, but GoldStars remained organised at the back and successfully dealt with the pressure.
The visitors also had opportunities to threaten, although they were unable to seriously trouble the Vision FC defence as both teams struggled to convert their chances.
The stalemate leaves Vision FC in 11th position on the league table, extending their winless streak since their opening-day triumph.
Despite another encouraging performance in possession, Vision FC will be disappointed that their control of the game did not translate into a victory.
Bibiani GoldStars, meanwhile, will take positives from their defensive resilience and Kobi’s impressive goalkeeping display.
However, the former Ghana Premier League champions remain in the relegation zone and will need to collect more points in their upcoming matches to improve their position on the table.
