Aduana FC General Manager Takyi Arhin has thrown his support behind Kurt Okraku, insisting he would back the Ghana Football Association (GFA) president if he decides to seek a third term in office.
Speaking on Sporty FM, Arhin expressed confidence that any attempt to unseat Okraku would be unsuccessful, describing potential opposition as unlikely to prevent the GFA boss from securing another mandate.
“If Kurt Okraku decides to contest, I’ll support his third-term bid.”
The experienced football administrator added that he would even welcome more candidates into the race, believing it would only strengthen Okraku’s position.
“I even want more people to join the race, so that they’ll lose their votes.”
Arhin’s endorsement comes at a time when discussions over the future leadership of the GFA continue to gather momentum following the Black Stars’ poor start to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
While some football stakeholders have called for changes in the association’s leadership, Arhin remains convinced that Kurt Okraku would comfortably retain his position should he decide to contest another term.
