Will Still’s team desperately needed a positive result to keep their European dreams alive, having won only one of their last four league games.
Strasbourg started strongly, with Habib Diallo heading in Habib Diarra’s cross in just 20 seconds. Although Reims piled on the pressure, Matz Sels denied them with a fantastic save from Folarin Balogun’s free-kick in the 28th minute.
