Coach Abdelhak Benchika did not win the Tanzanian Premier League but he made a huge impact with the Tanzanian giants. He replaced Robertinho earlier in the season after Simba SC suffered an embarrassing 5-1 defeat to their eternal rivals Young Africans.
The 60-year-old in November 2023 penned a year-and-a-half contract with Simba SC after the sacking of Robertinho Oliveira but will not even spend one year as he has mutually agreed to part ways with the Tanzanians.
Abdelhak Benchikha will not struggle to get offers as he has a rich CV including 2 CAF Super Cups with RS Berkane and USM Alger and a Confederation Cup triumph with the latter in 2023.
