Cameroon Football Federation president Samuel Eto’o says Ghana’s Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ is his favorite Ghanaian footballer of all time.
According to Eto’o, the former Olympic Marseille player and champions league winner remains one of the best players to ever play the game.
Eto’o was full of praise for the Ghana legend who won the 1982 Africa Cup of Nations tournament with the Black Stars in Libya.
Eto’o, who’s on tour in Ghana with the World Cup trophy as the Qatar Legacy Ambassador of Africa countries that will be participating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup competition in November this year visited Ghana to create awareness for the tournament.
In an Interview with TV3 on his visit to Ghana, he shared his thoughts on various footballing issues and termed Abedi as his favorite.
“My Favorite Ghanaian player is Abedi Pele, one of the best ever”, he said.
