Accra Hearts of Oak board member, Vincent Odotei Sowah has refuted claims about negative images being hurdled at the club.
The controversial football administrator in his quest to squash any gloomy image of the clubs has thrown light on the positive side of players adequate wellbeing and comfortability.
Former gaffer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Martin Koopman has lashed at the club’s mentality after his exit from the club.
“Hearts of Oak players who not travelled outside before are building houses they are buying cars the players are well paid we look at welfare, I mean I recall a video which was circulating just before the season hearts Oak players arriving at their hostel where they were driving cars” the board member spoke to Max TV
The capital giant have been inconsistent this season with a string of poor performances and currently lie 8th with 16 points. National Sports Authority’s closure of the Accra Sports Stadium means the Super Clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak will be played at The Baba Yara Stadium this Sunday.
