Accra Hearts of Oak are preparing a bid to snatch Samartex FC’s head coach to the Capital city next month according to report.
The capital giants are in search of a substantive head coach after the exit of Dutch trainer Martin Koopman due to the abysmal performance of the team.
According to report, management of Accra Hearts of Oak are doing everything possible to get the signature of Amadu Nurudeen. The ex-King Faisal and Aduana Stars coach has been phenomenal for the timber giants after he replaced Veteran Annor Walker before the start of the season. Samartex are currently on the summit of the league and unbeaten at home this season.
Per the report, the deal to bring former Under 20 coach is yet to be finalized. Management of Samartex FC are also unwilling to part ways with the coach whose tactical prowess have proved magic for the Samreboi based club.
Abdul Rahim Bashiru has been tasked as the temporary coach of the Phobians after the sacking of the Dutch coach. The reign of the acting coach was put to the test over the weekend during the Super Clash when Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated Accra Hearts of Oak 3-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium
Former Medeama coach, Tom Strand was also linked to the vacant job last month. The pursue of the Samartex coach is in contrast to Accra Hearts of Oak management’s desire to bring a huge name like South African Legend Pitso Mosimane to the club.
